Antrodia camphorate is an extremely rare fungus native to the forested regions of Taiwan.
It is also a traditional Chinese medicine, Scientific studies have demonstrated that A. camphorate crude extracts and pure compounds possess a variety of beneficial functions, such as anti-hypertensive, anti-hyperlipidemic, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, and immuno-modulatory activities.
It is referred to as a “national treasure of Taiwan” and is used as herbal medicine for treatment of food and drug intoxications, diarrhea, abdominal pain, hypertension, itchy skin and to improve immune system and liver function.
